Laugh After Dark Is Filming Kalea McNeill’s Debut Comedy Special at The Crow Comedy
Award-winning standup comedy TV show blazes new trails into standup specials at LA’s newest comedy venue!
Los Angeles, CA: Laugh After Dark, the award-winning stand-up comedy TV show on Amazon Prime and Tubi is heading back home to Los Angeles to film its first ever standup comedy special at LA’s hottest new comedy venue, The Crow in Santa Monica. Headlined by Kalea McNeill, this special taping event will be hosted by Laugh After Dark’s own Charlie Wilson, and will feature Tavares Smith and special guest, JoJo Gibbs.
McNeill is a 10-year comedy veteran and actor originally from the bay area who is currently on a west-coast comedy tour. Kalea gained a love for performance at an early age before attending Clark Atlanta University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. As a comedian, Kalea has performed on legendary stages such as The Comedy Union, Flappers, The Comedy Store, and most recently at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival. She can also be seen on season 2 episode 12 of Laugh After Dark. As an actor, she has been on TNT’s Animal Kingdom, CW’s Crazy Ex Girlfriend, and various guest/costar spots on FX, CBS, TruTV and TNT.

Laugh After Dark has two LA-based seasons currently available to watch on Amazon and Tubi with the much-anticipated brand new season, Laugh After Dark LIVE in Las Vegas premiering this summer.
Since the show’s first live tapings in Los Angeles in 2018, Creative Studios LA has been the production company and creative force behind the Laugh After Dark brand. The company, headed by executive production duo, Kelsey Borlan and Robert E Lee IV, is a multi-award-winning full-service tv and film production company with a focus that includes tv promo spots, branded content, celebrity interviews, and, of course, live stand-up comedy.
